the New 2010 Intel® Core™ i5,i7 Processor

The new Core i5 processors...... As the name would suggest, these processors do not represent a new architecture but rather a mainstream release of processors based on the Nehalem architecture, which were previously available only as part of the Core i7 line.
Of course, the marketing of the new products indicates that they are intended to be seen as less capable products than the existing Core i7 processors. But marketing often sacrifices truth for simplicity. For example, Intel currently offers numerous products under the Pentium name, but these products are in fact Core 2 Duos and very similar to the Core 2 Duo branded products. Is Core i5 simply a marketing term, or does it indicate fundamental differences in the processor?
Intel has said this will be enhanced with the new Core i5 products as well as with the new Core i7 860 and 870. The Core i5 750, for example, should be able to accelerate from its stock speed of 2.66Ghz to speeds as high as 3.2Ghz. This is a substantial improvement, and it allows new Core i5 processors to perform as well as current Core i7 processors in applications that only use one or two cores. For more in-depth information, read a full review of the Core i5's performance.

LET'S GO GREEN

A Day to Celebrate Earth
Earth Day is the largest, most widely celebrated international environmental event. Earth Day helps celebrate Earth’s unique place in the universe. It is the only planet in our solar system teeming with incredible biodiversity. Learning about and protecting this biodiversity is what Earth Day is all about. People all over the world celebrate our efforts to protect plants and animals and to clean up the world we live in. Most people celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd each year.

Countries all over the world celebrate Earth Day in different ways. China created a stamp to commemorate Earth Day and the planet.

A Turnout of 200 Million!

In 1990, the first official International Earth Day was celebrated. About 200 million people from 141 nations took part in a celebration of environmental conservation. In many countries, the global event reminded presidents and other national leaders how important protecting Earth is to people.

A Rally in India
In India, one Earth Day was celebrated by approximately 1,200 kids. They held a rally during which they carried signs with slogans and messages about preserving all of nature. The children also performed skits about the environment. The India Habitat Center held painting and quiz competitions. At other events, kids presented a “Children’s Clean Air Manifesto” to the president’s wife. Then they held a Children’s Bicycle Rally to promote nonpolluting forms of transportation.

L.E.D bulbs

As of 2010, only a few LED light bulb options are available as replacements for the ordinary household incandescent or compact fluorescent light bulb. One drawback of the existing LED bulbs is that they offer limited brightness, with the brightest bulbs equivalent to a 45-60 W incandescent bulb. Most LED bulbs are not able to be dimmed, and their brightness retains some directionality. An LED light bulb can be expected to last 25–30 years under normal use. LED bulbs will not dim over time and they are mercury free, unlike the compact fluorescent bulbs. Recent research has made bulbs available with a variety of color characteristics, much like the incandescent bulb. With the savings in energy and maintenance costs, these bulbs can be attractive. It is expected that with additional development and growing popularity, the cost of these bulbs will eventually decline.[5]

Fluorescent tubes with modern electronic ballasts commonly average 50 to 67 lumens/W overall. Most compact fluorescents rated at 13 W or more with integral electronic ballasts achieve about 60 lumens/W, comparable to the LED bulb. A 60 W incandescent bulb offers about 850 lumens, or 14 lumens/W.. (according to wiki aunty)

NOW THESE LEDS HAVE ALSO STARTED BEING MARKETED IN INDIA .. THOUGH A LITTLE EXPENSIVE BUT A BIGGER STEP TO SAVE OUR ENVIRONMENT..
SO HAVE A HAPPY GREEN DAY..

THE IMMACULATE DOG..

Few people have stopped to ask why dogs have such a keen sense of right and wrong. Chimpanzees and other nonhuman primates regularly make the news when researchers, logically looking to our closest relatives for traits similar to our own, uncover evidence of their instinct for fairness. But our work has suggested that wild canine societies may be even better analogues for early hominid groups—and when we study dogs, wolves and coyotes, we discover behaviors that hint at the roots of human morality.

Morality, as we define it in our book Wild Justice, is a suite of interrelated other-regarding behaviors that cultivate and regulate social interactions. These behaviors, including altruism, tolerance, forgiveness, reciprocity and fairness, are readily evident in the egalitarian way wolves and coyotes play with one another. Canids (animals in the dog family) follow a strict code of conduct when they play, which teaches pups the rules of social engagement that allow their societies to succeed. Play also builds trusting relationships among pack members, which enables divisions of labor, dominance hierarchies and cooperation in hunting, raising young, and defending food and territory. Because this social organization closely resembles that of early humans (as anthropologists and other experts believe it existed), studying canid play may offer a glimpse of the moral code that allowed our ancestral societies to grow and flourish....

Communicate clearly. Animals announce that they want to play and not fight or mate. Canids use a bow to solicit play, crouching on their forelimbs while standing on their hind legs (above). Bows are used almost exclusively during play and are highly stereotyped—that is, they always look the same—so the message “Come play with me” or “I still want to play” is clear.

Mind your manners. Animals consider their play partners’ abilities and engage in self-handicapping and role reversing to create and maintain equal footing. For instance, a coyote might not bite her play partner as hard as she can, handicapping herself to keep things fair.

Admit when you are wrong. Even when everyone wants to keep things fair, play can sometimes get out of hand. When an animal misbehaves or accidentally hurts his play partner, he apologizes—just like a human would. After an intense bite, a bow sends the message, “Sorry I bit you so hard—this is still play regardless of what I just did.

The reason why many owners love their pets so much is because an animal shows affection. In dogs, this show of affection includes cuddling and licking. One would definitely think why a dog follows its master and why it licks its owner's face or hand.

Dogs stay together in packs whether they look the same or not. According to experts, this has been going on since the time dogs separated from the wolf family. Dogs stay together as a means to survival. So when a dog follows its master around, it is out of pack instinct. A dog sees its master as an leading character to whom it can depend and look up to. A dog sees its master as someone who can protect and defend it in times of threat. One must be thinking ironically that this is opposite to what we think about dogs...wat one of the website describes about..

HOWEVER ONE THING I CAN SAY ABOUT DOG AS A PET IS THAT THEY HAVE SOME POWERFULL VIBES THAT CAN CHANGE THE MOOD OF THE PERSON.THROUGH THE AFFECTION THAT HE SHOWS.. TO HIS MASTER..AND CAN ALSO CONVERT A PERSON(WHO HAS HATRED TOWARDS THEM)..CAN MAKE THEM LOVING ..

Dogs are man's best friend and they are the most preferred companions for humans because they are easy to train, feed and get familiar with..

ANTIMATTER.. THE ULTIMATE DISCOVERY..

While I was reading Dan Brown’s book Angels and Demons a very interesting fact as usually given by MR. Brown in all the books created an eye opener for me ..With a little spark of the fact in the book (Angels &Demons)… it ignited my mind to write about ANTIMATTER …

The world’s largest scientific research facility in Switzerland’s CONSIEL EUROPEE’N POUR LA RECHERCHE NUCLE’ARIE.. (CERN) -were really successful in developing particles of antimatter. Antimatter is identical to physical matter however having opposite electric charges when it is found in normal matter.. Till now it has been declared as one of the most powerful energy source known to man.. It releases energy with 100 per cent efficiency(which I think has disproved r physics teacher who believes that there is no particle in universe that has provided a 100% efficient energy ). One more interesting fact bout Antimatter is that it is pollution and radiation free. With a single drop it can run the whole New York City for a day as told by Mr. Brown in his book. BUT unfortunately due to its instability this as a source of energy cannot be used..Such that it can again destroy the Hiroshima and Nagasaki with just a single gram of it..

However now CERN has now successfully brought the antimatter to its ground state by using the Antiproton Decelerator..But guys still imagine how can this substance cause so much of destruction..
It can just be called a weapon of mass destruction.

The Crore Birthday Bash..

‘loot ka paisa’.. WHAT ONE OF THE b.j.p leader said against the latest garland- money case..on the birthday of Kashi Ram.. which was expressed by mayawati in the form of money.. Can u imagine a 5 cr. rupee garland .. that i must have never earned so much in my life.. Mayawati has been in controversy in the past for collecting public donations on her birthdays. An enthusiastic BSP worker from Kanpur had gifted a plot on the moon on her birthday this year. The BSP supremo’s diamond jewellery sets and her statues carrying a purse have been hot topics of discussion in political circles. But Monday’s extravaganza to celebrate 25 years of BSP’s existence and 76th birth anniversary of founder Kanshi Ram set a new bar. according to TOI.....
IS THIS DALIT KI RANI MAD!!Where on one side in U.P people r suffering from poverty and on the other hand she is throwing public money in vain..ghosh can u imagine.. It could well be the most expensive political felicitation. Politicians have been weighed in coins and garlanded .. Bhai desh ki halat to ab ram bharose hain..

THE LIVING LEGEND ....

So 50-over cricket is dying, and only muscle-bound, switch-hitting and reverse-sweeping batsmen can survive in the modern one-day jungle. Pah! Sachin Tendulkar certainly blew those couple of absurd and trendy notions asunder last week with his record-breaking one-day international double century against South Africa.Even before he took guard at Gwalior, Sachin Tendulkar's place in the pantheon of cricketing gods was assured. He had already amassed both the highest number of runs and the maximum tons in Tests and one-dayers alike.

Treasure this new, improved Tendulkar. He is, by far, still India's most valuable player, and will remain so till he decides to call it quits. But that's for later: after Gwalior, and given the form he is in, it's time to ask what's next. Maybe a 100 international hundreds, given that 93 are already in the bag?

* Highest run-getter in ODIs, with 17,598 runs from 442 matches. Jayasuriya (13,428) and Ponting (12,731) follow

* Most centuries in ODIs (46), followed by Ricky Ponting (29) and Sanath Jayasuriya (28)

* Since Feb 24, 2009 has scored 1,158 runs in 20 ODIs, with 4 tons, averaging 72.37. In the preceding 12 months, had scored 352 runs from 9 ODIs at an average of 44

* His double century is the first in 39 years of ODIs, including 60-overs-a-side matches

* Highest scorer in Tests, with 13,447 runs from 166 matches. Next best Lara (retired with 11,953) and Ponting (playing with 11,859)

* Most Test centuries (47), well ahead of Ponting (39) and Kallis (34) among active players, and retd Lara and Gavaskar (34 each)

* In 2010, has already scored 477 runs averaging 95.40. Only Hashim Amla (674) has scored more Test runs this year
• In his last 10 Tests, has scored 1,018 runs at an average of 78.3 and is the only one with 6 tons in the last 12 months. In the previous 10 Tests, he had 647 runs and averaged just 38.08..
After Sehwag and blasters like Gautam Gambhir came and Dhoni followed suddenly the pressure was off Sachin to get that 200. .For a long time one has been waiting for Sachin to play two shots he hasn't, a six off the backfoot as an injured Pataudi hit at Melbourne in 1968 and a six one from outside the off-stump to over square-leg as Viv Richards would do...Given his strength in all forms of the game, is it time we consider him the superior to Don Bradman... sachin babba ki jai...

M.F HUSSIAN.....

India's eminent artist M.F. Husain, who has been under attack from Hindu fundamentalists for his paintings of Hindu goddesses and has been living in Dubai and London, has been given Qatar nationality, it was reported here on Thursday.

"I, the Indian origin painter M.F. Husain at 95, have been honoured by Qatar nationality," the celebrated artist wrote above a line sketch of a horse, the leitmotif of much of his work.
